Getty Center, it includes a very modern art museum, an art research center and a beautiful garden. Now the getty center has become the city of Los Angeles after universal studios and Disneyland another important landmark of cultural attractions, is yearning for art lovers. Getty center founder is American oil magnate, Paul getty. Paul getty loves for the European classical painting and sculpture, especially enamored of Greece and Rome, collection is very shocked, most of the artist of masterpieces, such as van gogh,monet, and so on.
Today, we went to this famous place so that appreciate the art. But it was very far from our school. We spent at least two hours to get there. When we got off, we were all in a daze. But luckily, there are always some things let us curiosity and make our spirit better. Because we found that the museum is built in the mountain. We must take the electric car. Oh, It was a good way. I thought. Gradually, we got to the top of the mountain by electric car. Finally, we saw the museum. Cool! Cool! The design style of the whole building gives a person a kind of comfortable feeling. And it's all made of Travertine, full of majestic. I like it. So, my trip to view pavilion official started...
This weekend I just stayed at school. But there weren't anything to make me feel fun. Maybe this weekend would be so boring. Fortunately, when I was doing my homework and looking for information by Internet. I found a comedy movie named SPY which was released. I heard that this movie is very good-looking. So after I had finished my homework and I started to watch. SPY talked about a fat woman in order to revenge for another male spy who she likes and decides to become a spy to deal with bad guys. The whole process is so funny. Although she is bad at this profession. But eventually she succeed rely on her smart and the determination of vengeance. This movie not only gives us happiness, but also tells us a truth. As long as you have confidence and perserverance, so fat people can be successful and gets what she wants, don't you? I like this movie. OK. Maybe this weekend is nice.
The day before yesterday, we went to the Raging Water. The day was very hot!! So it was a good choice for us to escape the heat. We need to be cool. There were many people were playing when we got into. And the atmosphere is very lively. Soon we changed clothes and then started to play different kinds of items. Exactlly, most of the items are slide. Some are fast but short, and others are slowly but long. Anyone, we had a good time. Now, I show you the photos.
I have always thought science is very wonderful. It changes all world, which makes our people's life more and more convenient. We even achieved the dream of spaceflight. Today, our teacher took us to the Science Museum. The ticket price is free. So everybody can free to visit. After we went in there, we saw many plane model, which are reality and delicate. It's so cool. Then we saw a huge space shuttle. Its name is Endeavour. Endeavour flying for the first time was on May 7, 1992 to the international space station,space shuttle Endeavour has 25 times recorded flight, on May 16, 2011, this is its final mission. At the end of the misssion, the Endeavour is discharged. On October 14, 2012, it starts from Los Angeles international airport after city road to its final museum- California science center. Year, It's valuable and have important historical significance. Oh, I like it. Also, we went to visit the other fun things. There are four main exhibition area, the life world, creative world, ecological system and the space shuttle endeavor. Each exhibition of things is very interesting. Finally, after ate lunch and saw a movie about space shuttle endeavor, we came back to school.
Independence day is one of the main statutory holiday, date for each year on July 4, to commemorate on July 4,1776, the continental congress in Philadelphia formally adopted the declaration of independence. Every year on this day, all people will celebrate and let off fireworks at night. You can imagine how nice at that time. So lucky, I just study here for about half a month and I meet this important day right away. On that day, the teacher took us to the dodgers stadium. Oh my god！ So many people, I never have been saw this scene. Most of the people wear the blue clothes about Dodger. The audience all very enthusiastic and make a warm voice. Crazy! Game for almost four hours. Finally, sure enough, Dodgers won!!! A wonderful game! All the audience stood up and erupted! How excited! Then after the game over, we waited until the evening, waited for the fireworks bloomed. To be honest, I have never watched the fireworks with so many people. And that night of the fireworks is very beautiful. I think so.
